Hope Cross Cottage, Vicarage Farm, Buxton

You’ll find Vicarage Farm Holiday and Retreat Centre deep in the Peak District, looking out over peak and dale.  Hope Cross Cottage  has a fully accessible ground floor cottage with one twin and one double bedroom.  There are also several other cottages on the site, all set in six acres around a 17th century farmhouse.

The farm is set in the ancient farming hamlet of Wheston with its medieval cross. The hamlet lies just over a mile outside the well-serviced market town of Tideswell with its famous church known as ‘The Cathedral of the Peak’ and its equally famous Well Dressing Festival held annually in June. The village has a good range of independent shops – baker, butcher, greengrocer, café, deli, bookshop, chip shops, Post Office and a Co-op open from 7am till 10pm.
